Sketchbook

TOM - It's been a while since I've posted any of my sketchbook stuff, so here are some entries from the past few months...

You always had dynamic sketchbooks but these are extraordinary. My favorite is the woman pages, 3rd from the bottom. They are edgy and really stand out, your loose brush work always fascinated me being that there is something really special in them.

i totally agree - your sketchbooks have always been so interesting and inspiring as a cohesive 'piece'. these are really great, and the top two are my favorites, especially the first one. i don't remember seeing you draw many animals, so i really like how you rendered the elephant. and the simple washes of color are really well placed and thoughtfully done.

I'm blog famous! Well at least my mom is.(aww tomasito)I agree with above. Your sketchbooks are great. I love how you don't let yourself get contained with the idea of a perfect sketchbook. You just jot down everything that comes to mind regardless of the outcome.Which by the way always looks great and full of energy.
