Is this for a comic or just personal? Looks cool...

These last two entries are really nice. Nice use of the double page spread. I remember a few years ago when I was doing a 24 hour comic at SVA, one of the phrases you suggested to me was "Monk speakes whale". I used it and made a three page comic out of it. Maybe I'll post those to compare.
I've been getting back into doing alot more sketchbook work myself - there's something really satisfying about creating a piece from start to finish that's already bound in a book.
Also, that carrot is fucking hilarious.

that's the Crazy Carrot! long story short, he was a little character i used to draw in my sketchbooks when i was a teenager. he would always make an appearance on a page, especially if i was stoned.

yeah, i remember i had given you that phrase a long time ago - you have to post the pages, that would be awesome.

and i totally agree with you about the sketchbook=satisfaction. this new book i have is much smaller, so it's so much easier to use the spread and complete something.

and edwin, i hope to be in again in May. i'll shoot you an email. y'know how it is - i get into the city, there's a million things i wanna do, another million things i need to do, and i wind up forgetting to put on pants before i leave the house. it'd be good to see you tho - we'll make it happen.
