The Flowerr of Woman/The Powwer of Man

JAMES - just finished my heavy deadline week...so it's time for experimentation. pencil, inks, watercolor, acrylic, lots of water and medium, on poor weak paper. almost tore a hole thru it. almost.

Thats really nice. It looks like you had a lot of fun with it too. It looks both expressive and controlled and the colors are very pleasing to me. It took some time for me to notice the hands grabbing the flowers, which in this type of piece is fine and it's a nice touch and ties in with the title. How big is it? what kind of paper?

thanks. yeah, it started as a straight brush/ink drawing of the two broads faces, so that's the controlled part. then i took a break and decided to annihilate it. the hands were done before the major chaos - i was trying to freehand doodle with the brush, and it didn't go where i wanted it, so that's when i just started literally pouring ink and water all over it.
and it's in that sketchbook i had with me when i was in ny - it's 12x12 square, and the paper is really weak. i'm actually kinda regretting the book itself because the paper is so.....see-thru and just weak. oh well.
